Japan has historically been an agricultural nation that developed primarily around rice cultivation, nurturing world-class technology and knowledge in this field. However, in recent years, rising prices for agricultural machinery, pesticides, and fertilizers have made it difficult to earn a sufficient income solely from rice farming. As a result, many elderly individuals are diligently continuing to farm in order to protect the rice paddies passed down through generations.

Specifically, in the rice paddies of Japan's mountainous and inland regions, which account for about 40% of the country's landmass, there are few sufficient employment opportunities in the vicinity. It is also difficult to make a living as a part-time farmer, resulting in a decrease in young successors and the advancement of depopulated villages.

Super Co., Ltd., in order to fundamentally transform the challenges facing Japanese rice farming, our proposedFuture AgricultureWe have been working to establish it. Within this context, our company has continued experimental cultivation of "Mizunoyume Ine," a super-dwarf and super-early maturing rice variety, accumulating abundant data and technology. Now, based on the research results to date, we aim to increase the number of cultivation cycles per year and establish a stable, highly efficient rice production system by further advancing varietal improvement. We aim to achieve the world's No. 1 rice cultivation, andThe world's fastest-harvesting riceWe aim for the development of.
